Carney and Zelensky sign a 100-year partnership

The signing itself, at a black table set on gravel in front of a military truck in Calgary. The Canada Ukraine Declaration commits the two to conclude a hundred-year partnership agreement covering defence and security, trade and investment, energy and critical minerals, while supporting a just and lasting peace. Confirmed by the Canadian Prime Minister’s Office, CBC, CTV and the Kyiv Post: Operation UNIFIER extended to 2029, joint production of drones, counter-drone systems and ammunition, and Carney saying Canada holds about 2,000 military drones and will need millions, roughly a third of them going to Ukraine.
