Robert Barnes

Robert Barnes is an American trial lawyer and the founder of Barnes Law LLP in Los Angeles, admitted to the California bar in 2005 and also barred in Tennessee. His practice is constitutional law, criminal tax defence, defamation and civil rights, and he co-hosts the legal podcast Viva & Barnes: Law for the People with David Freiheit. He appears regularly as a guest on Daniel Davis Deep Dive and Dialogue Works, where he reads foreign policy through domestic politics: what Congress will tolerate, what an administration can survive, and how a war plays against an election calendar.
