Alexander Mercouris

Alexander Mercouris, a British commentator trained as a barrister, is best known as co-host and editor-in-chief of The Duran alongside Alex Christoforou. This entry tracks his separate near-daily solo YouTube program, where he goes deeper on military detail on the Ukraine war and related geopolitics than the Duran show allows. He writes consistently from a perspective sympathetic to Russia’s position in the conflict, and sometimes surfaces his own first-hand sourcing.
