Andrew Napolitano

Andrew Napolitano is an American former judge, born in 1950, who sat on the New Jersey Superior Court from 1987 to 1995 after being appointed by Governor Thomas Kean, becoming the state’s youngest then-sitting Superior Court judge. He was an analyst at Fox News from 1997, latterly as senior judicial analyst, until 2021. He is a libertarian and has written Constitutional Chaos (2004), The Constitution in Exile (2006), A Nation of Sheep (2007) and Suicide Pact (2014). He now hosts the YouTube programme Judging Freedom, which has become one of the main venues for the non-interventionist analysts this site tracks.
